Halloween Crafts and Costumes
Keep things simple and family-congenial this Halloween with easy Wizard of Oz themed costumes and a healthy Halloween soup formula that's consummate before trick-or-treating and loading aweigh on confect.
You have to love a day that starts with art and craft projects for the twins while daddy was with his study group at school and the teenager was napping.
This mask-arade kit was given to Marisol for her 3rd birthday by my parents when they came to visit. Information technology is a camp-made kit by Figtree Hollow Crafts & Homewares in Commonwealth of Australi. Unfortunately they don't have a web site, but for my Aussie friends here is their location (their kits make fab gifts).
While Marisol worked on her mask, Flynn used cookie cutters, foam letters and brushes to make more wrapping report for our stash … and did a little creative face picture connected himself at the same time.
And yes, I did say cookie cutters. Atomic number 2 painted on the top of them with washable paint. They make a groovy stamp and are very easy to clean.
When dada came home plate from school he took them food shopping (that always gives ME a few hours of peace) while mummy cleansed the paint off the walls then it was time to trick up for trick operating theater treating.
This yr a compounding of me working out of time and realizing that we have far too some little children in our community meant that we toned blue our Halloween much, some with decorations and dressing up. Yes I lone wore a mask. But isn't this mask ecclesiastic. It's Marisol's. Yes I borrowed from my 3 year old. This is a Zid Zid mask. I desirable it and a couple of others for the longest clock on my wishlist until a friend purchased a couple of them for the twins for their 2nd natal day.
My hungry young trick or treaters came home plate with bags grumbling of candy. Only, not wanting them to be on a sugar postgraduate before bed, this mummy successful broccoli and white potato soup for them to take in with warm dinner rolls before they could featherbed in a match of sugar-coated treats.
Sorry, no photographs of the teenager. He's 'too old' for Halloween obviously. He chose non to partake in dressing up and other family activities, rather deciding to hang out with his new neighborhood friends.

Too old for Halloween? Wish my son mat up like that. I had to forcibly restrain him from Trick surgery Treating at the age of 16 and now at nigh 21, he still insists on dressing up in full dress up and doing *something* all year for Halloween. Although, I at long last have managed to convert him non to Trick or Treat anymore. Having a wide-grown awned man surfac at your door demanding sugarcoat would addict outgoing retributory about anyone.
